The origin of the World Expo dates back to 1851, when the first edition of the event was held in London. These great exhibitions, held in different cities, seek to show the world the scientific and technological advances achieved by each nation, encourage cultural exchange and promote tourist attractions, exports and the image of each country. One of the aspects that has contributed to the recognition of World Expos is the architectural legacy that they have left to humanity, some of the most emblematic cases being the Eiffel Tower in Paris, the Ferris Wheel in Chicago and the Space Needle in Seattle.
